I'm Wendy Flores aka The Jeweled Unicorn

I started out on a journey to make some extra money with a Dream of becoming my own Boss. I have been in the jewelry sale business for a few years and the shared love of Unicorns between my granddaughter and I sparked the creation of THE JEWELED UNICORN.

For those of you who do not know me, or my story, let me give you a little insight into who I am, who I was, and who I strive to be. I was born and raised as an only child in Southern California. My family is my life and are always first. I was married in 1991 and had two son's during that 10 year marriage before becoming divorced.

As a single parent it is difficult to feed, raise, and financially support two growing active boys. During this time I worked several jobs and went to school for a Degree in Medical Assisting. I have always loved the medical field and taking care of and helping others has been a gift for me. I graduated, raised my boys into young men, and thought life was great or so I thought......

My oldest married had two children and went into the Army. My youngest went to college and I found my self with a lot of extra time. Little did I know that my family would need me to stop working and care for my grandmother. She  came to live with us and I became her full time caregiver. Times were tough and I began selling jewelry while caring for her to generate an income... then my grandmother passed, the company I worked for went out of business, and my oldest divorced. 

This is where The Jeweled Unicorn started to become a DREAM! I began selling Jewelry and moved to Colorado to help care for my grandchildren. This was a BIG leap .... leaving all of my extended family behind (my parents and younger son joined me a few months later) I left California to start my DREAM!

At first it was slow start selling jewelry and I started a 9-5 job in the medical industry working for various Health Plans to have a steady income.  Flash Forward to a few months later to the birth of THE JEWELED UNICORN.....my online Boutique business was thriving and now I am able to work from home, earn income to pay my bills, go on vacation, and spend time with my family!  A DREAM COME TRUE!!

However my journey doesn't end here it continues by providing amazing products at reasonable prices shopping from the comfort of your own home. This is truly a MAGICAL journey that continues to grow in many ways each day!
